When I microwave small bag of Orville Redenbachers popcorn almost a third of the kernels do not pop and popcorn burns.
Be sure to place the bag with the proper side down on top of an upside-down paper plate, and put it off-center, not in the middle of the turntable.

consult the owner manual or if lost Google the model number with "manual" to try to locate one. You should also be able to call customer service with the model number for live help--I suspect they are getting a lot of similar calls right now.

My Sunbeam microwave stopped work 1 min into cooking something?
There could be a problem with your microwaves switchboard.Or the wiring connection is not good and causes it to heat up and causes the fuse to trip and then has the power shut off for your microwave.

Unplug microwave, open top, "several screws" look to where the keypad is, behind that you should see the control board, mounted you should see a round black device may be a speaker or pizza buzzer, verify that is sound.

this fault is due to defective key membrane ,check by cleaning PCB assembly if same problem then replace the key pad assembly.

Sunbeam microwave display light not on. Inside lamp on and turntable spending slow when plugged in. Nothing working properly on display screen; no buttons, no on light.
you will have to decide if is cheaper to fix or replace. Microwaves are inexpensive. find parts and someone to fix it mat be difficult. I would reple it and move on. You can chose from several makers. prices start at $39.00 up to $150.00. look at Walmart, home depot

Then, keep and use the convection oven which is in the best condition (yours or the used one you purchased). Hold onto the other convection oven (without the bowl) in case you need it to cannibalize parts to repair the unit you are using or in case you need to switch out the units if the one you are using stops working.Best wishes.

I have a brand new Sunbeam 0.9 Cu. Ft. Microwave Model SGB8901 that runs but I want to silence all button sounds including finish alert
Open the case and cut or disconnect the wire to the device that emits the sound. Likely it is not a speaker but a pizzo electric device. The manufacturer's do not usually include any way to turn this function off. You have to do it by brute force.
