You haven't said if you could hear the compressor running. If so then either the compressor is shot or there is a refrigerant leak. If it's not running it could be a bad cold control or the compressor starter. Oh and check to see that you have power at the receptacle that it's plugged into, I've been to calls of the refrigerator not working only to find out the it wasn't plugged in or the power was off at the receptacle.
