Hello,

I was just given this exact crib from a family member but they lost the instructions. Would you be willing to sell me a copy? Please let me know. These are hard to come by. Thanks so much!

1-Lower drop side to lower position. Then on the opposite side of the crib, remove stationary side. To remove stationary side, press the small tab on the end hardware(brown plastic piece that connects the rail to the frame) and then pull rail up.
2-Before reinstalling the conversion safety rail(csr), remove the mattress support bolt that is on the side the the csr opening will be(the foot of the bed). A new bolt will be used to reattach the mattress support in the next step.
3-Slide csr hardware onto the hardware on the crib ends. Insert two 1/4-20x2" bolts into each end. One bolt will replace the mattress support removed in step 2. Be sure to put the bolt back through the mattress support bracket before screwing into the end.

I have the instruction page with pictures if you would like a copy emailed.

I am not familiar with this crib, but I have been through many cribs and they all (so far) are adjustable to lower the mattress. You can figure it out by removing the mattress and matress board and inspecting the way the board is connected to the frame. Often there is a bar or rung that sits in a clip or groove at each corner of the crib just below the matress board. You may have to crawl underneath and look up at it. Usually you will be able to lower the platform without using tools, but be sure to take the weight off the platform by removing the mattress and board. Good luck.

Converting the crib to a toddler bed?

Childesigns... | Answered on Sep 23, 2013

yes you need to get the conversion rail. I'm looking for one if anyone can find one. I can't find a number for the manufacturer and the store I bought it from doesn't carry it anymore.

This company has gone out of business, but you could try various buy/sell sites, yard sales, secondhand stores, etc.

Nod-a-way cribs go together about the same way as the rest. If you have 2 metal rods
those hold the front-dropdside and allow the dropside to move safely up and down.
The back will have either 4 bolts, 2 on top-2 on bottom or a nub that holds the top side
of the back-fixed rail with 2 bolts on the bottom. The mattress support will either bolt in,
slide into opennings on the head and footboard. The hard thing is getting the dropside
set right so that it drops when you push the release with your foot. Be sure to lift then push
with your foot. Let me know if any of yours is different. I'll try and help more.

Use the allen wrench that came with the crib to slightly loosen the two bolts on the moveable gate side (bottom) then shimmy the sliding gate out of the tracks. I did it myself with verbal directions from the store - should be easy. If I find the instructional guide, I tell you.
