Childesign Shelby crib replacement parts
You know I just purchased a Childesigns crib from a garage sale thatI thought had everything needed. When I got home, we found it was missing one top plastic rod. Of course nothing will work without that. I found this webpage that sells a VERY similar product.

Crib replacement parts
Me too. I ahso need the plastic "hand release" on the right side. Manufacturer (Generation 2 Worldwide) is out of business and Products America does not have a similar part that will work on this crib. Help! This crib is useless worthless without it. Any Ideas?

I did the same thing I took the smallest side piece into my local do it yourself hardware store and the found the pieces for alot cheaper than the manufacture.
Broken plastic brace on stationary side
Childesign is in fact out of business and did not leave any way for their customer's to buy lost or broken parts. Unfortunately, you will find it extremely difficult, if not impossible, to find the part you are looking for.
I need to find a place or site that sales crib parts?
The telephone number and email address are on a sticker on the crib frame. Look under tha mattress that's where ours is. Have the model number and Manufacture date ready when you call. That info is also on the sticker.

I had the same problem and was able to just go and buy the replacement screws at the hardware store. I actually took the parts to the store with me to make sure they fit.
Also, I am missing the plastic parts that make the side rail move up and down. Do you know where I could locate these? Thanks!
Crib sturdyness
If it feels as though it wobbles, a likely problem is that the screws have not been fully tightened. They may feel tight, but give them all one good torque turn or two, until you cant anymore, pretty much. It should solve most of the wobble.
