My Blomberg dishwasher wont stop drain cycle
A common cause of this condition results from water in the base pan. This may result from a leak in the dishwasher or the drain hose (to the sink drain) backing up. First check the base pan (the very bottom assembly that all other components are mounted within) for any moisture - this can be difficult as there are only narrow openings between the tank and the base pan; a mirror can help or you might have to pull the unit out from the cabinet to access the sides. If there is moisture in the pan this problem must be corrected as the unit is just trying to protect against water damage from a leak. If the base pan assembly is dry, look at the float assembly (behind the water fill valve) as insects or rodents can sometimes interfere with the proper operation of this sensor. That causes the control to think there is a water leak. When this fault occurs everything is turned off and the drain pump runs continuously to eliminate any water from inside the dishwasher.

Blomberg dishwasher door falls open, no resistance to the floor
Blomberg machines are special. The insulation and access to side parts are concealed. The dishwasher is encased in stainless steel panels, so you actually need to totally disconnect and remove your d/w for this repair. I bought the little parts, nice and cheap, but I am not going to uninstall and reinstall the entire unit for this little inconvenience. I am going to fashion a swing-down door prop instead.

My Blomberg dishwasher will not
Doug Smith\'s solution of Oct. 20, 2008 worked for my Blomberg Dwt57500ss model.Removed small filter basket by pinching 2 tabs inward at the top of the basket. Turned larger basket counter-clockwise by hand and lifted out stainless steel screen. Used wet/dry vac to suck all the water out. The anti-flood switch reset itself. Turn power back on to unit, and pressed start. Then pressed program I wanted to use and reset button to start machine. Worked immediately and started washing dishes.

Dishwasher is powered on but and making normal start up noise but no water is entering the dishwasher and not beginning the wash cycle
My Dishwasher is a Blomberg DWT 25200 SSWS. It had the same problem. It powers up but no water enters in it and the clock didn't advance. This is what I did to fix it. You can display the error code by powering off the dishwasher then pressing the 'Program' and 'Half Load' buttons at the same time then power on the dishwasher. This will show an error on the screen. My error was E:1. The problem was a disconnected blue hose at the bottom of it.
This is the overflow detector.
This little board has a 12 Volt relay that activates the main water valve which is a 120 VAC valve. There was nothing wrong with it.
This plate is at the bottom of the dishwasher to hold the water that spills.

Dishwasher washes dishes but does not dry even though that display shows dry icon
First ,Check for a water puddle on the bottom of the dishwasher .If you have water there, you more than likely have a plugged drain or drain hose, or bad drain pump (less likely) If no water is there see if the dishes are hot after a cycle. If they are not you could have a bad heater (that circular thing on the bottom of the dishwasher) other problems could be the timer or computer Depending on the model brand and age of the dishwasher .One last thing there is a vent to let moisture escape that could be bad but then you would have hot wet dishes
