I can't login to my facebook page
Hello :
Your web browser is not stable . Here is what to do : Just go
to www.microsoft.com and download internet explorer again and
install it , then reboot your system . I'm sure that this will solve
the problem . any way , why don't you try other internet communication
softwares like ( firefox or google chrome) those both are great also .
I advice you to have more than one internet communication software . I
already have three just in case if one of them is corrupted . I have (
Internet explorer and firefox and google chrome ) . just try the idea
and you'll be satisfied with the result
If this solution is
helpful please click a thumbs-up rating below.
Have a great day

No sound from internal speakers of my notebook
All the hints you gave here as ”best solution" wont help with that problem - also not to install the drivers again.
The problem is the green socket for the headset/speakers/digital at the front. After hours of testing I found, that the software doesn't recognize any more if there is something plugged or not in the green socket. If you check the "Realtek HD Audio Manager" and click the "Speakers" tab you find on the right side the round symbols for "ANALOG" sockets and the square symbol for "DIGITAL". Even if there is NOTHING plugged, the round green "ANALOG" symbol is intensive green and that means that it recongizes something as plugged in the socket - and that is the problem. Because the software believes that there is something "plugged" it directs the sound output to that socket and NOT to the internal speakers. I could not find out if it is a mechanical, electronical or software problem but it seems to be a electronical problem. The workaround is to click with the right mouse button on the green round socket symbol "Connector Retasking" and check "Line In" and - surprise - you will hear the sound from the speakers!! There is another work around with the blue "Line In" socket. If you plug your green plug from your headphone or speaker in this blue socket, a window pop's up and asks you "Which device did you plug in?". Normally it regognizes that it is a headphone (if not you check the "Headphone") and you confirm by clicking "OK". Now you have the sound output at the blue "Line In" socket, but with a lower sound level. If you now unplug - surprise - you have the sound again from the internal speakers - if you had set the green round socket symbol to "Line In" before!
Good success!

I can't download anything
Your firewall may be blocking everything. Go to your control panel find the windows firewall and shut it off temporarily and then try the downloads. If it works now, the the firewall was stopping you. You can adjust the firewall settings to be more open, expert with the settings one by one and see what helps. Also if you have other firewall software, you should do the same sort of test with that software.
If this solves the problem, please leave feedback.

Unable to download itunes set-up.
Vista is not a great program to install this but it can be done. first remove itunes and QuickTime from the control panel The new version of iTunes takes care of a lot of compatibility issues with Vista. ensure that you
download the latest version of iTunes.

Vista Home Bacic Repair.
Unfortunately not, this option is available in Windows 7 but not Vista. In order to repair an installation of home basic, you need a home basic disk.

Try to ensure that Windows Installer service is running, or force start it.
1.. Open Run, and type in services.msc then press Enter. Alternatively, go
to Control Panel -> Administrator Tools -> Services.
2.. Locate Windows Installer in the all install services listing.
3.. Verify that the Status is Started. If the Status column is blank,
right click on Windows Installer and select Start.
4.. If you get error trying to force start the Windows Installer service,
try to change the Startup Type to Automatic (default is Manual), and then
restart the computer.
I would suggest you to run SFC scan which would scan for corrupt system files on the computer and replace them.
Steps to perform SFC scan:
1. Click the Start button
2. From the Start Menu, Click All programs followed by Accessories
3. In the Accessories menu, Right Click on the Command Prompt option
4. From the drop down menu that appears, Click on the 'Run as administrator' option
5. If you have the User Account Control (UAC) enabled you will be asked for authorization prior to the command prompt opening. You may simply need to press the Continue button if you are the administrator or insert the administrator password etc.
6. In the Command Prompt window, type: sfc /scannow and then press Enter
7. A message will appear stating that 'the system scan will begin'
8. Be patient because the scan may take some time
9. If any files require replacing SFC will replace them. You may be asked to insert your Vista DVD for this process to continue
10. If everything is okay you should, after the scan, see the following message "Windows resource protection did not find any integrity violations"
11. After the scan has completed, Close the command prompt window restart the computer and check.
