the problem with the outdated version is that it was incompatible with the updated iTunes. and so anyone with iTunes 8 and higher won't be able to use Tuneplus. luckily, Broderbund/Mediashop managed to fix this. Though it seems the updated version isn't available through normal means of "Tools" then "Check for updates". so here's what you do, uninstall your current version of Tuneplus. then download and install this updated patch.

here's the patch that you're looking for, here. as for getting it to your computer without internet access and only using the library's computer, you would need someplace to save the program to. such as a flash drive or a disc or something for you to save the file to. that's about all i can think about for your options without an internet access.

When you launch the TunePlus Application the first window you see should say version 2010.05.04.0 If it does not you will need to preform an update by clicking on the Tools menu inside of the program and select the option for Check For Updates.

update it by going to Tools then "Check for Updates"
once updated it, the version it says when opening tuneplus should say "Version 2011.01.19.0". if it doesn't have this version and it shows an older version. then uninstall it.
