I don't know where you might find whether suspended fish, but when you get there, if you want better images than being rendered on your Lowrance elite 5 DSL, then get a better unit

I have a Lowrance Hook 4x fish finder. It has the correct transducer and was working fine. Lately the screen is not showing imformation correctly and it will also start to show a depth of 266 ft.
Try to replace battery. If that doesn't help then factory reset and re-calibrate it.
