Return it for a new one that works. You paid for new one that worked and that is what you should get.

There is a solenoid that activates when you press the trigger and allows water to flow. If it isn't stopping, you most likely have a bad solenoid. Take it to your local vac shop for repair.

Go here and start searching https://www.bissell.com/support/user-guides Although I could not find anything under power flex ... Sp you may need to read the model number off the mfg plate on the vacuum ... and search on that

find a video on how to disassemble this on youtube and you may learn a little about how it works, how to take it apart, and most likely clean anything that causes this problem and put it back together.

Make sure that everything is connected correctly all seals good.was it used for a long period of time cuz with mine I burnt it out for using it 4 hours straight and it only been used twice before apparently the bezel needs to rest from time to time

Make sure all the tanks are seated properly and everything is clamped down. I found that if everything isn't sealed it won't suck. Also be sure the red filter is clear of debris. You can hear the difference when everything is clamped and sealed. Hope this helps.
