Most electronic devices have power to the main control board when the unit is plugged in regardless of the switch being on or off. If that is the case and no other issues exist, it is nothing to be concerned about.

you can clean it --coils probably dirty if freon was problem would be freezing up and or failure to cool

i just press water on wind screen too empty washers till it stops.

try going to windchaser products ink,as far as i am aware the will be able to send you the right part for your heater, the can also supply you with a manual if you need one

Is it the same size as a tumble dryer venting hose? Could you not search online for a replacement?

Stinky fan motor or compressor motor?Unit work OK except for that?Run capacitor may be defective. It helps efficienct operation of the motor.

If the air that's coming out is still cold, then you're probably fine. If it's running nonstop and it's not cooling down, you might be low on charge. Unfortunately, there's no simple way to check this yourself, and you'll need to call a service tech to verify that that's the problem and fill you back up. General charges (depending on the freon and the company) are somewhere around $100-300 for the visit, then $50-400 for the freon (depending on how much you need and the type).

Here s a link to the Owner's Manual that you can download and print for future reference. Take good care of your unit, as Windchaser went out of business about 4 or 5 months ago. And with it went all the repair parts.So follow all the recommendations for Routine Maintenance listed in the Owner's Manual.

There is no model with that number listed on their site so it's probably a custom one, made very recently specifically for a chain of stores. In that case this one should be very close to what you have

But if the unit is an older model (as in at least 5 years), the one with rotating dials, then this is its manual

Unfortunately, Al, Windchaser has been out of business for about 6+ months and finding replacement parts are like looking for a needle in a haystack.There may be a substitute for it, but it would mean reprogramming or replacing the receiver in the unit. In my searches, I have not been able to find a universal replacement for AC units. However, there is one place you might try

hi check first the compressor motor if it is running which cycle the cooling system .then make sure the thermostat knob is good. if all those i mentioned are good.now look for the thermostat if it is good and with contact.if still air doesn't cold might need to refill freon by this time you need an AC technician to do the work. i hope it will help you good luck.
