Maybe it over heated or the hose was jammed. Unplug it for a few minutes, check the hose for any stuck debris, then plug it back in. Shop vacs also come with a filter. If the check ball is stuck closing airway, the strike the unit on top when its off, you may hear the ball drop and there try again. Otherwise, if that's not it, most like the fan portion inside to create air movement has separated from shaft of motor assembly. You may try top open top and reconnect, but if you not sure don't try this. Take a look at product info for possible replacement or back to store for advice.

I don't know exactly but if it has one it will usually be found in intimate contact with the motor. Some vacs were fitted with a bimetal breaker which is also sited close to the motor, but sometimes there is so much dust around once they open they fail to make a good contact again when the cool and close. Older vacs weren't fitted with any safety devices.

Most wet dry vacs have a ball float that blocks the vacuum when it is full of liquid. Yours sounds as if it is full or the ball has gotten stuck in the up, or blocking position.

First check if the bag is full. Then check if hose is clogged or attachment is clogged.

Try jerking the emergency cord the oppisite way to put it back in gear and the door must be up all the way open

THE MOST LOGICAL CAUSE IS THE CARBURATOR NEEDS REBUILT. IT IS DIRTY AND RESTRICTING FUEL AND AIR FLOW. HAVE A GOOD DAY! it may even be as simple as a new spark plug. try turning the fuel adjustment on carb, all the way in and back it out 1-1/2 turns. the idle screw should be screwed all the way in and backed out 1 turn. if it has a screw on bottom of float bowl or carb, it is the high speed jet, try adjusting it, in or out.

Either the bulb blown or not wired right when installed. should have one red wire, one black wire and a ground wire, green or copper.

This sounds like the carburetor needs disassembled and cleaned. This happens over time and the tiny orifices plug up. Usually from letting gas set in them for extended periods of time and it gums up. If you are not familiar with them, I would take it to your nearest small engine repair shop.

I am not familiar with this model but some of the consumer wet vac models are build with a module and motor as one part. You will need to replace the entire module
