How do you change bag
Hi! Below are step-by-step instructions on how to change the bag on your vacuum. This vacuum takes a Dirt Devil Type D replacement bag. I have included a link to the instruction manual, as well as a link where you may go to purchase replacement bags for your vacuum.
1. To Remove: squeeze front panel release lever and pull towards you.
2. Grasp cardboard collar of paper bag with both hands and pull past raised locking tabs on the dirt tube. Dispose of old paper bag.
3. Important: Extend bag away from hole before installing. Press in opening to clear paper away from hole.
4. To Install: Push cardboard collar past raised locking tabs on the dirt tube with both hands. Be sure paper bag is fully extended and tucked in at the top and bottom.
5. Replace front panel by putting the two bottom tabs in the slots on the vacuum. Push front panel so release lever attaches.

Why does the dirt devil breeze turbo shuts off
Hi there! The vacuum is equipped with a thermal protector sensor that will automatically shut the motor down if it reaches a certain temperature. This is usually caused by either a clog or a filter that needs to be cleaned or replaced. Make sure you check both the hoses for clogs and clean all filters properly. If a filter is really dirty it may be time to replace it. Hope this was helpful!

How do I put on the belt
Normally fairly simple.............1)Remove the bottom plastic cover. Should be 2 or 3 screws. 2) Pull the bar out (along with the belt) 3) Put new belt around the bar on the smooth surface. 3) Put bar back in (It goes a certain way, but easy to tell by the ends of the bar 4) Stretch the belt back to the small round metal pole. It should be tight, so sometimes takes a litlle muscle.

Dirt Devil Bagless Breeze Cyclonic
Filters can clog quickly or you may have a clog somewhere which will reduce airflow causing the motor to overheat and shut off. It will come back on after it cools down. If that is the problem you may need to clean or replace the filters. If that does not solve it I would take it to a Royal warranty repair shop.

Why is my Dirt Devil Vacuum Hose lacking suction?
I have a Dyson and was having a similar problem some time back. I found out these bagless systems still have a filter that picks up the fine dust to keep it contained. Find out where yours is located and beat the dust out of it really good or just replace it.
Hope this helps.

Spark caused vaccum to turn off
Some vacuums have a reset button you can push. Some have a fuse in the power line that may have blown. You will have to follow the power all the way through the vacuum checking the voltage at each switch, connection, etc. I often unhook the power & neutral wires from the motor and hook up a power cord with connectors on the end directly to the motor to make sure the motor is good. You must be very knowledgable with motors, switches, electrical testing, etc. If not this repair is best left to a professional.
