Dehumidifier won't stop running when the bucket is full.

Could be a defective level sensor

What kind of hose do you need to utilize the hose hookup? I'm tired of emptying the bucket.

SOME OF THEM JUST USE A STANDARD GARDEN HOSE . SINCE WE CAN NOT SEE WHAT YOU HAVE

I have a danby ddr7009ree

The continuous drain hole (where the hose is inserted) is clogged. To remove the clog, you will need an 18" long plastic Zip Tie (or something similar. But NO wire cost hangers) that will fit into the hole.
Insert it slowly and push until you reach a bend in the tubing. You will need to gingerly work it past this bend until the Zip Tie bottoms out or you run out of Zip Tie. Then, while rotating it, pull it out slowly. As you reach the end of the Zip Tie, be prepared for some water to follow. Also make sure that the drain hose, when reinserted is not crimped and the end is lower than the drain hose connection. The unit does not have a pump. It relies on gravity to drain water through the hose.

Hope this helped you to solve the problem. Please let me know. Thanks.

My Keystone keeps shutting down with an EC code. My filter is clean, there's suffient space around the unit and the temperature is set to 60. What is the problem?

EC usually means that the compressor overheated while trying to move the refrigerant through the compression part of cycle. This usually happens when the refrigerant is low due to a leak in the system. Sometimes, you can spot the problem when ice builds up around the coils near the leak. This is not a user-repairable problem. If your dehumidifier is under warranty, contact the manufacturer. The entire system has to be checked to identify the leak. Then after the leak is fixed, the correct amount of refrigerant appropriate to the model has to be added. (In most places, freon and freon replacements must be handled by a trained professional.) I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

I have a Garrison 28 pint, 043-5436-2 dehumidifier. It gives off a lot of heat when turned on. What can I do?

They do, because it is a refrigeration unit. Just make sure, fans and air filter screens are clean.

Should the fan shut off when the humidity setting has been reached for model Frigidaire CAD504DWL 50-Pint Two Speed?

Thank you for your post, friend!

I see that your question is if the fan should shut off once it has reached the recommended setting. The fan will run even when the compressor cuts off so that air can pass over the sensor coils to check the humidity. This is a normal operation. I hope this is helpful. -Matt
