1st: Make sure the SD card is in working order and not damaged.

2nd: Make sure you're using the right file type (.jpg, .png, .gif, etc) and size.

Try recharging it, if you have a cord to plug in the wall or a usb cord to your computer, it should work as well.

i have had the same problem and i have resolved the problem as following : - measure the output tension on the external power unit ... she must be 12v ... on my unit i had 10v!!! - open it (it's difficult but not impossible) ... look at the 2 condensers 1000uF 16v ... change them and you will retrevie the 12v output and your frame picture. - an another solution is to buy a another 12v-3A external unit

Insert a fresh battery in the remote control. The battery compartment is a bit tricky on these frames. Push the small part toward the large end and slide open the drawer with a fingernail.

Make sure you don't lose a memory card in the frame. Check that you're inserting the card in the correct slot. You'll need to send the frame back to the manufacturer to get the card out.
