Tv light flashing cant turn tv on

Sounds like your TV's projector lamp has burned out, ususally the TV provides you a diagnostic by flashing the power or stand by button in red or green. So look up your TV online and search for the projector lamp.

Tv volumn

Are you using another remote for the guide? Like the cable box remote? If that is the case then the remote could be sending a signal to the cable box that is the same as the signal used to adjust the volume on the television.

Tvee model 25 wont shut off light goes red and after 3 seconds flips back on

The TVee 25 will turn itself on whenever there is an input. If there is no audio input it will shut itself off or you can manually shut it off. Or, you can select an input that has nothing connected to it.

Red status light will not go off or change on Boston A TVee model 2 soundbar.

I am also having the same problem. It was working fine until we moved. Plugged it in at the new house and nothing but a red light. Sub is green though.

Have a BA TVee 25

I had this same problem and it was due to their instructions which do not adequately explain the setup procedure. On my own, I was successful in programming volume up but that was all. I assumed that for volume down I would hold the power button and the VOLUME DOWN button and wait for the flashing light just as I had for volume up. Problem is, you never get a flashing light.Today, I spoke with a rep from Boston Acoustics who patiently explained that step one of the instructions has to be done the same way each time as it is the step that puts the soundbar into programming mode.It is only at step 2 that things change. The solution is to hold the power button and the Volume Up button every time in order to get the system into programming mode. Once the light is flashing, in order to program Volume Down, you then hold the Volume Down button until the light goes solid. Once the light goes solid, then press the volume down button on your remote 4 times slowly. Works like a charm.Works the same way to program the mute button. Follow step one to get the unit in programming mode. Once the light is flashing, hold down only the mute button until the light goes solid. When the light goes solid, press the mute button slowly 4 times.OBTW, this was programmed with a Logitech Harmony 650 remote unit.

I won an acoustic solutions flatscreen. When I try

A few options that i can think of...First, make sure the input source (Cable, Satelite, DVD player) is selected on the TV. You should have a "source" button or "input" button on the remote to cycle through the various input options. Push the source/input button several times in case it is set to an input jack where you have nothing connected.Second, your backlight might be burned out (or the power supply for the backlight). Tonight, turn off all the room lights and close the shutters (I assume you have them since you are in the UK : )) Anyhow, turn on the TV and watch for any amount of light changing on the screen. Even if the TV not getting an input signal, you should see some different shade of Gray/Black when you turn the unit on.If you do not see any amount of light (gray/black change) when you turn the TV on in total darkness, your backlight is not working. Either the bulbs are burned out, loose or never connected correctly; or, the power supply for those lights are not working. The backlight on this unit is likely a compact flurescent tube. If this is the case, you can try to change the tube (about 50 to 100 quid for the bulb alone). Check the manufacture data on the back panel. Likely near where the cord comes out of the unit. If it says 2009 or earlier, I would just get a new one.Thats about all I can suggest because repairs on these units are nearly impossible for the DIY crowd and parts are so expensive that a new one is a better use of your money in most cases (I almost said a better investment but, since its value will never go up, it will never be an investment). Cheers!

Can program up volume but

To program the down button, after step 1 of the programing sequence, you must press the down button of the speaker system and then press the down button on the remote four times. This goes for the other buttons (i.e. after step 1 of the programing sequence, press the mute button on the speaker system and then press the mute button on the remote four times). This is a weak point in the programing instructions.

It is not latching on to the soundbar transmitter. Is the locked light on the device turning on.
Wireless devices are sometimes known to drift. Is the sub silent when the soundbar power is off ?. Even then if its making this sound, the subwoofer amplifier is oscillating at very low frequency. You will need professional help and needs to be repaired.

I tried hooking up my

because your tv output is not of suffieient power to drive the soundbar. The soundbar needs to be hooked up to an amplifier that is being fed by your tv line out (or earphone output)

Distorted sound from the Soundbar.

Change the Trim Level switch setting to a higher number.
Check the signal source to be sure the distortion is not originating there. <<<<<<<<<

The woofer seems to have interference with its wireless signal.

Try changing settings of the Wireless ID switches on both the soundbar and bass unit. <<<<<<<<
The bass unit could be too far from the soundbar to get a good signal. Try moving it closer.

What is the source device that results in static? How is it connected?
