you need a programto conver raw vhs into H.284 digital I would recommend FinalCut pro.

Now if its not detecing your VHS on the inputs then the device is not fucntioning like it should. I would try it on another computer to see if that aint the issue. It could also be the device not detecting correctly otherwise malfuction. Also most tapes/Movies have copyright protection and saying that if you doing a movie that could be the issue to Btw, I’m available to help over the phone in case u need at https://www.6ya.com/expert/edwy_1a56970cf1ea4620

I installed all programs on

The only thing I could recommend is to make sure you have the proper drivers installed. You can google: "*insert product name** driver" And it should be one of the first links.

Usb emp audio device cannot

Hi lynnembryant,
Your problem seems to be related to the driver your capture card uses. I would recommend updating them.
Here are the links:
For Windows XP, Vista and 7 32 bits : http://sabrent.com/drivers2/USB-AVCPT-32bit-XP-Vista-Win7.zip

For Windows Vista and 7 64 bits : http://sabrent.com/drivers2/USB-AVCPT-64bit-Vista-Win7.zip

You seem to need another driver as well for the audio, here it is : http://sabrent.com/drivers2/USB-AVCPT-USB-EPM-286x.zip

You might also want to check their support website here : http://sabrent.com/support/.
Cheers!

Video capture with this device is great, but I

Here are couple websites with drivers: one , two. Choose device familiar with yours download and install latest drivers - your device must be unplugged. After installation you'll be prompted to restart Windows, after restart plug your device and check if it is installed in Device Manager properly. If any of devices has yellow exclamation mark, try to manually update the driver and choose - Let me choose the driver to install the correct driver should appear in the menu. After drivers are installed you have to properly connect wires and configure format PAL or NTSC, resolution and so on. Good luck! And by the way there is no good driver for Windows 7 x64 it can be installed but Blue screens from time to time.

What are the red yellow

The side with 3 RCA jacks, red, white, and yellow, is for connecting the USB to a composite video cable. The black connects to an S-video cable; you would still use the red and white plugs to carry the audio. At least the older XBox's had composite video outputs; you just need the composite video cable (which you may have as they came with many video devices (VCRs, DVD players, video cameras).)

If you need to connect this Video capture device to another type of output, you will need a converter. Component to composite video would be one option. However, you will have signal loss with any converter.

I hope this helps.

Serial number?

Sometimes the serial is placed on a yellow sticker on the shrink wrap. You can also call the manufacturer, give them the serial number and they can provide you with the serial number.
