perhaps you forgot to plug the case switch connectors
you know, power, reset, HDD light...

Start button>settings>control panel>sounds and audio devices>

Middle tab [audio]
default device, hit the down arrow
and choose the other device

make sure you load optimal/default settings and your hard drive primary/Operating system drive boots first F10 save ok enter

if everything is up to date, softwares, and other related issues you had mentioned...seems like the audio amplifier in your pc is not functioning or it had been damamged...alc880 high definition audio driver, try to uininstall it, and if you had tried any other related alc drivers to install..remove it from the system and re-install it..if it works..no problem, if it dosnt..try to play your media player, if you are able to see graphics moving...then your audio amp is damaged..check out

Sounds like a problem with the power pack. Try with another power pack to confirm.

Check rating of power supply and make sure this is meeting the specifications of the motherboard. Check memory compatibility. This can play some serious tricks. Unplug motherboard and try powering up power supply by itself. Possibly you are short of power, a faulty supply or faulty motherboard. Wiring is normally pretty straightforward and connectors have guiding features to avoid erroneous assembly.

Check the power supply, if its working right you should hear a beep on this motherboard.

Remove the CMOS battery off the motherboard and do a reset on the BIOS. At the switch it shorts and turns the power supply on. See link:

those two header connections should lead to the Power Supply Connector.

You need to replace the small battery on your motherboard, You can get them at Radio Shack. The battery number is CR2032 it looks about like a quarter. With your computer off, open your computer case find the battery in its holder pop it out and replace it with the new one. Now when you power the system back on go into setup usually by pressing either the "del" key or "F2" key after you go to setup exit the screen by pressing either "esc" or "F10" your system will finish booting and you should be back up and running.

Boot order: Traditionally, a computer is set to boot first from the floppy drive, and then from the main hard drive (Drive C). This means that the computer will check the floppy drive first for boot files. If there is no disk in the floppy drive, the computer will then go to the hard drive to look for boot files. That is why if you leave a non-bootable floppy disk in the drive and try to boot up, you'll get an error message such as "NTLDR is missing. Press any key to restart." or "Non-system disk or disk error." This can be changed to pretty much any order, including CD and DVD drives. It is useful when installing Windows on a new or just-formatted computer to set the computer to boot first from a CD-ROM drive, and then insert the Windows installation CD-ROM into that drive. This saves you from having to use boot floppies that might or might not come with the Windows CD-ROM. Good luck.

PRESS F2 or del if you have usb use a an adapter for a ps2 connector from the keyboard will probably help to set your bios settings maybe replace your backup battery when you have lost your settings.
