Trying To self Repair SoundStorm 700.2, Replaced Parts and still having problems

The power transistors are shorted out and must be replaced. If you contact JL they will fix it for a flat rate. That amp is well worth it.

The light yellow is on what hapen whit my ampli

Depending on what light it is. It could be your ohm light, if it is your ohm light then you have something wired incorrectly. If it is another light, it could either be a power problem or it could be that your amp is damaged.If you would like, you may e-mail me and u can let me know which light is on. No. JL is one if not the only manufacturer that does not fuse there amps.

This can happen if the amp has an internal fault such as a shorted output transistor.

Yollew indicator light keeps coming on when i hook my amp up why is this happening

Does it only happen on that channel. It is a 4 channel amp so make sure the other channels are working. It sounds like an RCA input prob. Try the sub on the other channel. if it works then it would be your RCA input needs resoldered.

Had the same problem once from a very poor ground connection.

showed 12V across multimeter, but could not deliver any real power across the connection due to poor grounding.

check it.

ENGINE NOISE COMING OUT THRU

check how secure your earth strap is for the amp, mabye try thicker cable, you can get interference suppressors as well which may help and are cheap.

I accidentally wired the 12v

Hi
It look like you burned the power supply in the amp if the fuse is ok
there is a circuit that protect the amp and its possible that it burned
this should not be too expensive to be fixed

Depending on the amplifier it has an allen key that fits the input and the speaker wires. Any hardware store will have the tool that will fit. Most of them will allow you to take it outside and test it on your amp to make sure it fits.
