The answer depends on the purpose of your rangefinder and your own requirements. For bow hunting, 100 yards is more than enough. On the other hand, for rifle-hunting you, the range will vary widely depending on where, what and how you hunt and on your proficiency and style. Typically you are looking at a wide range of 200 yards to 800 yards. For golfing again, it depends on the circumstances. You can work with a rangefinder with a range of anywhere between 200 yards to 600 yards. The yardage described here is relative to dark trees. Do not forget to find out what the advertised yardage is relative to - specifications can vary from highly reflective surfaces to deer sized targets.

My cameras were cut on my night owl so on the camera side there is 3 small wires which are green red and white and there is also a grey which is thicker strip back the grey and you'll find a yellow wire those under the grey cover will go spliced into the big white wire on the connector side that goes to your dvr and the wire between the grey and yellow needs to splice onto the outside wire that's between the black cover and white wire on the dvr side also on the dvr wire there will be a red and black wire connect the red wire to the three small wires on the camera and it should work I did not use the black wire because I couldn't find where it connects I have a night owl series vdp2

I cleaned my Tasco binoculars with Goof-Off and it seemed to work well. It was in horrible shape, with really sticky black goo.. now it feels smooth and clean again. Don't know how long it will last though.

Point the working CCTV camera at the bad camera that is turn on. Now, look at the monitor which is working with your operational camera. Look at the bad camera while it on, and see how many IR LED's you can see on the bad CCTV, while it turn on. You should be able to the IR LED glowing red. If not, then there is a problem with bad CCTV IR LED's. Short wire, no power to the IR LED's. stewbison
