Try these codes.[0210 0948] [0092 0896] Where the code is listed as [### ###] the first is for the TV and the second is for the DVD. Otherwise just the one code operates both the TV and the DVD.

You most likely have a problem with the mechanism in the unit or something dealing with the optical pickup--depending on cost of the unit it may be less expensive to just replace it.Most combo units (this is posted as one) only sell (if available) the entire DVD section.

It is an indication that you have a problem on the power supply on the main board.
Nowadays tv will automatically shuts off if there was a problem on the power supply.
It is quite technical so if you are not an expert I've advice you to send it to a repair shop or look for a qualified technician to isolate the faulty parts on the low voltage power supply and do re-soldering on some dry joints on the main boart because sometimes dry joints affect the performance of the regulated power supply...

The carriage could be stuck or the processor could have some garbage in it do to a small power surge, disconnect all or and voltage source from unit , even the battery if it has one for 30min. and that will reset it back to normal.

I know this isn't what you want to hear, but the problem you've described can't be fixed with troubleshooting. Your TV needs to be repaired. There is a part that has developed a defect and needs to be replaced. The problem is the company that manufactured that TV (it wasn't Disney corporation) went out of business over a year ago. Consequently there are no parts available for anyone to repair the products they manufactured.

You can get an universal remote programmed to your set from a remote shop. I think they are available in all TV/DVD shops.

PLS. seting tv in colour sys [exmp. PAL /NTSC/ SCEAM] so
set your colour system is AUTO . the set all colour system automatcly.

The password is 1369 for movies that come up with that message.

Turn off the closed captioning through your TV menu.

The DVD is causing the problem, disconnect the plug that lead from theDVD to the main board and see if set will stay on.

well there not easy to do but can be done make sure you discharge h.v voltage if not sure take to tv shop they'll get ya back on track thats a cool tv
