Welcome to Fixya! This can be Fixed by Loosening the Screws on the Cutter Head and retightening until it works at the Desired Speed. After sitting for a Long period, They will lock up and need to be Loosened to get it going again. Please Rate My Response! Thanks!

Your problem is in your blade adjustment,nothing is wrong with the clipper,trust me i've adjusted thousands, set teeth so that hair can easily be feed through when clipper is on,perfect solution,wish i could draw you a picture.

How long have you had your trimmers? This unit comes with a one year limited warranty. If the unit is still under warranty please send to the Andis Co with a copy of the receipt and we will gladly repair the unit for you at no charge. If the unit is no longer under warranty there will be a small fee. Please be sure to include your name address and a short note stating the problem inside the box. We always suggest sending the unit either Fedex Ground or UPS so that there is a way to track the package should it become lost. The blade assembly is either jammed or broken. I would remove the assy and test to see if it runs. If I you have isolated it to the blade assembly. (If not its internal and needs factory service).

Cost of repair is most likely more than buying a new one. Just buy a new one.

hi, the blade and the guard should not be parallel, they should be or look slightly out of parallel. dont forget to oil the clippers.. jm

First, I'm not a Andis Tech. * Check your warranty and call for service. *** Following is for information only *** * Normally I would suggest cleaning and tightening the 2 blade holder screws as in a normal "Human" hair clipper. But I noticed this pet clipper uses a snap on blade (or a combo blade as shone in "Blade Maint" video. Looks like it's mostly cleaning though I have seen other vids with clippers going dull during pet "rescues" having to trim matted hair. One lady used 2 blades and ending up using a 3d blade. It could be just that; really thick dirty hair. install the clipper blades onto the unit properly read the user manual on how to do it From your description it indicates that the blade base is on the tang but the clipper is not inline with the activator and will click in a bit more
