Runco RS-900 Bulb Questions & Answers
I have no power to
The capacitors on the power supply need to be replaced. When you take apart the projector, and then remove the power supply (it's the section that the power cord goes to) and open it up. Look for the little can capacitors and see if any of them are bulging on top. That is the sign that they've blown. Replace the big ones (about 5) for about $5 in parts. Reassemble and test by turning it on. Search for YouTube video. This is an easy repair.
Turn on without remote
Just push the power button on the top. The power standby light is orange or yellow if the power supply is ready. If it is off when plugged in, then you have a bad power supply.
Have a DTV 947 projector
That means you might not have computer (desktop/laptop) connection setting to projector. Cable from laptop to projector might be set but you need to do some settings to have movie shown on projector screen.
