To my knowledge there is no way for a user to unlock a security locked phone. That’s the point of the security. Some things have a master code that the manufacture can give you if you can prove that you own the device by providing proof of purchase.
The only other way to unlock such things is to take it to a microelectronics expert along with fists full of cash and he/she *MAY* be able to get in to; or all together erase the firmware and to unlock it for you.
If you’re lucky and the phone has a small code size limit, or even better if it is all numbers. you can guess the code. Like if there is only 4 digits in the code you can take a dictionary and enter in all the four-letter words you find, trying the obvious ones first.
If you "acquired" the phone, and you know the person or at least some thing about them that may give you an easier time. You know, "get in to their head".
