I guess you lost the AC power cord? just buy it like this DOA or? i see page 2 showing how to connect it. but the cable is not the same on all countries things that matter are would wide and your secret not told is power voltage there and what connectors or connection type needed, direct wired or plug-in and what plugs you use in your country. manual words pg1 Configurable for 220 : 230 or 240 nominal output voltage????? apc offer schematics or BOM'sthere secret service manuals covers card (PCB) changes and jack names . if not too old their official service centers can fix it;.even out of warranty if it has recalls as many do. top brand UPS like this and for sure commercial grade my UPS has 2 ways to see logs. one is with the APP called, (free) Powerchute at Apc.com or i use my serial console port i login there using PUTTY at 9600,N,8,1,No flow ctrl and type status. or type help first this is DOS like CLI , effect with PUTTY I type eventlog (at CLI)_ and see all logs, Esc = end, space = next page. there is 3rd way using APC cloud but I do not have that.(overkill for home) I have 2 connections to my UPS ,ethernet and serial console cables. 2 ways in, and is covered in the manual. Is red light on for overload or for battery? If on overload, try reducing the load on the UPS. If red light on overload persists buy a new UPS (overload fault hard to repair). Red light on battery - replace the batteries. Red light on boost or buck, may mean that the nominal voltage of ups and the limits need to be changed/corrected.

Must have good batteries to power up.

what the problem?

it is cause by UPS internal fault, possibilities like faulty charging circuit, inverter, etc.. you can call APC and check if its still have warranty, APC will replace it right away :D

have you check the battery, SURT UPS will not on if the battery is totally drain.

Unplug your UPS from the wall. Disconnect the batteries. Push the on button. LED's may flash. This is how to reset the logic. Connect the batteries and plug back in. Everything should be reset.

Automatic: The UPS performs a self-test automatically when turned on, and every

two weeks thereafter (by default). During the self-test, the UPS briefly operates the

connected equipment on battery.
Manual: Press and hold the button for a few seconds to initiate the self-test

REPLACE BATTERY LED ILLUMINATES

Replace Battery LED flashes and

short beep is emitted every two

seconds to indicate the battery is

disconnected.

Check that the battery connectors are fully engaged.

Weak battery. Allow the battery to recharge for 24 hours. Then, perform a self-test. If the

problem persists after recharging, replace the battery.

Failure of a battery self-test. The UPS emits short beeps for one minute and the Replace Battery LED

illuminates. The UPS repeats the alarm every five hours. Perform the self-test

procedure after the battery has charged for 24 hours to confirm the Replace

Battery condition. The alarm stops and the LED clears if the battery passes the
self-test.

Depend on model. For 600VA and above Go to APC site and check model of replacement battery. Peel open the front plastic panel and unscrew 2 screws of metal panel. Batteries can be slid out and replacement done when PC is online. Only two wires to disconnect and connect.

I would replace batteries, they do not have a long life. beeping The Back-UPS product has entered a low battery condition - This alarm indicates that the UPS has reached a Low Battery condition and will soon shutdown.
