As a general rule if you unplug from the mains power the solenoid that keeps the door locked will de energise and the door will be able to be opened but careful there could be plenty of water waiting to help wash your feet!

The oven element is located at rear of oven compartment, behind a removeable cover.
Undo screws securing cover.
ondo screws securing element, and pull towards you.
remove wires to element, be careful not to lose them inside.
Fit new element, and fasten cover back on.
MAKE SURE THE POWER IS OFF.
