I have photos files etc in my pen drive of

Insert the pen drive into USB port, then open My Computer. You will see some drives. Hard disk drives, CD Room drives, and removable media drives. Example: Your hard disk (drive C, D, E), CD Room (drive F), Removable media (drive G). So, each time you insert a tool such as pen drives, memory cards, etc, you can see it on drive G.

To view the data pen drive, double click My Computer, click the drive G. If you want to move files from pen drive to your hard disk, open the drive G, block all files, copy and paste to drive C / D / E.

hopefully help

How do you put your micro sd card in the computer?

if theres a slot for an sd card on your computer you need a micro sd card adapter. if it doesnt have an sd card slot you need to buy a usb memory card reader (making sure it takes a micro sd card first)

both are widely available in supermarkets/electrical outlets or on ebay/amazon/play etc and are very inexpensive.

Memory card error

Hi michellefwon,

Try the card in your computer using a SDHC card reader to see if it will read your picture files. If that doesn't work then you'll have to shop for data recovery software on line. Ontrack Data Recovery is a very reputable recovery company. They offer recovery services by sending them your card or by purchasing their do-it-yourself software.

My micro sd card is

Go to Control Panel ' Adminitrative Tools ' Computer Management
In Computer Management find Disk Management, if the card is being recognized at all, then it will show up as a removable disk. Right click on the disk and you can format it.

My 4gb kingstan memory card

SDHC (and SD) cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.

I inserted kinston 4gb card

  • There is a write-protection tab on the mini sd card HOLDER. Every time you insert this into your PC or card holder, this tab slides to the write protect position. Either keep resetting, inserting & reinserting until it doesn't slide or tape it down.
  • There is nothing wrong with the mini sd card. Simply locate the write protection key and push it.
  • The mini sd card has some error: Go for a low level formatting.
  • The card has virus: Remove the virus. The link for the steps is present in the related link at the bottom of the article.

    Hello sir

Memory cards reader usually doesn't require drivers.
    There's 2 possibilities here :
    1. Your card reader is faulty. Try another card reader. 2. Your card itself is faulty. If it's still under warranty, try contacting Kingston.
    Hope this helps.

When i try to open pendrive i'll get the error

Most of the time running a disk check first will fix your problem.

Right click on your drive's icon in "My computer"

Select properties. Go to the "tools" tab, select "check for errors".

Depending on the operating system you use, this could also be called "run scan disk", "run disk check" or "check for errors".

    MY 32GB KINGSTON PENDRIVE IS

    VIRUS OR TROJAN INFECTIONS:

Virus or trojans can run some process that keeps running in background. This not only harms the computer, but also prevents the pen drive from formatting as it shows that the drive is in use. Remove and re-insert thepen drive, don't double click on drive and cancel autorun operations if it starts automatically. Run a virus scan on pen drive, this will help fix the issue. Now format the pen drive.

CORRUPTED FLASH CHIPS ON PEN DRIVE:

If the pen drive is not detected at all, or shows a less capacity, then there are high chances that its a chipcorruption. Flash chips are the actual hardware components that save the data. A physical or electrical or electromagnetic damage to these chips make the pen drive faulty. This can happen because of voltage fluctuations and faulty USB ports. In such case, get the flash drive replaced if its under warranty as it can not be fixed otherwise.

    FAKE PEN DRIVES:

Sounds a bit un-believable but true. There are a lot of pen drives in the market which are of very cheap quality which are fake copies of some known brands. Beware of such pen-drives. Always purchase pen-drives or memory-cards from a reliable source with bill and warranty to avoid any mess later.
