Sharp AQUOS Blu-ray Disc Player - Page 2 Questions & Answers
Will not read disc or eject disc
There's a few things you can try. Turn off unit, unplug from AC for 5 minutes or so, plug back in, turn unit on, hit eject/open.
OR..same as above, but hold the eject/open button, then turn unit on.
Sometimes a combination of these odd procedures actually work. Sometimes holding the stop button, and hitting eject/open works too. Hope this is helpful.
I can not program my AT&T remote control to
Hi!
You may try these codes: 1311, 3163, 1312, 3164, 3176, 2174 and 3177
If none of these codes work try the steps bellow:
Programming with the Automatic Code FinderThe automatic code finder cycles through all possible codes for the type
of equipment you are programming until the correct code has been found.
- To program your remote control with the automatic code finder
feature make sure that the Sharp AQUOS Blu-ray Disc Player is ON.
- To control your disk player: With the equipment on, PRESS AND HOLD DOWN, the AUX
Mode Key on the remote control. The mode keys are located across the
top of the AT&T U-verse remote control. While holding down the AUX Mode Key, press and release the OK button. If done correctly the Mode Keys will blink twice. The remote is now ready to be programmed.
- The next step is to enter the code for the automatic code finder feature. That code is 922. Enter the code 922
using the Remote Control's keypad. You have 10 seconds to enter this
code before the remote times out. When 10 seconds have elapsed the Mode
Keys will flash once. If this happens just start over.
- The next step is start the automatic code finder search. Make sure you
aim your remote control at the equipment. Then press and release the play button on the remote control. Now press the Fast Forward key multiple times until the equipment turns off. Then press Enter
to save the code. Your remote now has the correct code. If done
successfully the Mode buttons will flash three times. Press the Power button again to turn on the Disk Player.
- When the code has been entered correctly, the appropriate Mode Key will
flash three times. To check to see if this code works, press the Power
button. If the Disk Player does not turn off, then the code is wrong and we need to try another code.
Keep me posted for clarifications.
Thanks.

Wont play all bluray dvds how do i update
Units that will play DVD but not Blu-ray usually are displaying a issue with the optical pickup in the unit (dirty or beginning to fail) as Blu-ray discs are more complex the issue will often show there first.
