I looked for an online manual, and I did not see how to get to the settings part of the menu, and to change the time and timezone. On the last page of the online manual, there is a toll free number for support that you might want to try. Unfortunately the Maestro 5310 battery is not user replaceable under warranty. Amazon and other online vendors have a replacement battery kit including the tools, battery and instructions. You should get the time from the satellites when the Magellan Roadmate 5630T-LM gets the vehicle's current GPS location. You may need to adjust the Time Zone. Press the Settings icon (wrench and screwdriver) on the Main Menu. Choose the Time Zone option (third icon down on the right side of the display in the manual). Tap the correct time zone for your area (including any daylight saving adjustments) and confirm to save the time zone. See the section of the manual on Settings starting on page 25 for how to navigate the menu. There are no details on the Time Zone section but the steps are similar throughout the menu.
