Hello! The vacuum does not move up and down when you change the height setting. When the handle is reclined is when the height of the nozzle will adjust. Hope this was helpful!

Go to pages 12 & 13. There are specific instructions with pictures. You may want to print them, as part of the instructions are upside down on your screen and will be hard to follow otherwise.

Most vacuum cleaners have more than one filter (even bag-less vacuums sometimes). I have found that after being used a while the motor filter blocks up. I just remove it and use another vacuum to clean it out. Depending on the material you may be able to wash it in warm water or if you can get your hands on a new one just replace it.
