some comp cant read the card a cheap fix is go to radio shack and get a reader/writer card its a usb connnection and should work for it did for me even my printer couldn t read my 4 gb

the sandisk memory is bad you need to get another one.a virus damage the memory card.

When you format a drive everything get deleted...and you may not be able to have your system to recognize it again you have a risk and I am not sure that you need to go that far especially that you do not have a backup driver for it...let me know if that work and please remember to rate my service so I am able to continue provide quality service and improve on it with your help. Could be it only supports SD cards up to 2gb but not SDHC.

you will need to do DATA RECOVERY and you will need special software to do it.

the card has likely been damaged

format the memory card to do this from a windows based PC open "My Computer" connect the device to the PC and wait for the "removable media" to show up right click on the removable media and click format

Try to reboot with the card inside the comptuer. If that doesn't work then try another computer and use your last resort as attempting to replace the card adapter. If you can access data from your phone then the card is not bad.

Your Kodak LS743 camera is built to use the SD memory card standard - which only goes up to 2GB. Any SD card over 2GB is a new format called SDHC (high capapcity) and isn't compatible with the previous format. This is why you can't use your 4GB card - you have to use a 2GB card.

Maybe the MS Stick have a corruped data :

You problem is most likely to be the fact that your micro chip is a HC chip. HC chips have a new program that is not backwards compatible to regular sd host ports. This is a simple fix, however. If you don't trust downloading programs for it on the internet, just go to target or walmart and get a USB SD card reader, and a SD adapter if you don't already have one. The usb adapter should only be like $10 at most.

I have heard of cases of SD cards just giving up the ghost and not working. If it is only 3 months old I suggest you take it back to the place you bought it

do you have a SD card reader for the computer? if not, getting one is a good idea. you can try putting the card into your computer to copy your pictures into your computer before formatting. And if you get the card reader from best buy. if this doesn't work you can always return it.
