My Dynex wired mouse, when

My laser mouse flashes too and it works just fine. I'm not certain, yours may be different than mine and maybe it's not supposed to flash on and off, but try cleaning the bottom where the light shines out using a damp soft cloth. Also try using a mouse pad with it... sometimes it may help.
If not, your mouse may be defective. Try exchanging it at the store where you bought it from.

Try checking your drivers to make sure they're still enabled and installed. Right click My Computer, click Properties, click Device Manager.
Here you should be able to view your Dynex Optical Mouse under Mice and other Pointing Devices.
If it shows yellow, you'll have to reinstall it/find new drivers for it.
If it's red, simply right click, then re-enable device.

If none of the above work, you might have to reset your BIOS to it's factory settings. I had this issue with a new mouse once. After it reset, it easily picked up my mouse again! Not sure exactly what set it off.
Best of luck! Hope this helps some :)

Mouse is not responding...

If it has batteries inside it, replace the batteries, being sure to keep the correct "polarity" when inserting the new batteries.

Otherwise, just responsibly recycle it, and buy a new mouse, because a new mouse is cheaper than paying a professional technician to try to trouble-shoot and maybe repair it.

Wireless mouse not working

You can use them both at the same time.Make sure the batteries are good. There should be a sync button on the bottom of the mouse.you need to check the wireless receiver to see if there is a button on there as well.If there is you need to push the button on there first, then the mouse.
The easiest way to fix a sticking key is to remove it from the keyboard and clean it out. Then replace the key.

Problem with my wired optical mouse

The light of the optical mouse is used to calculate it's location on the screen. But, if you use the mouse on a shiny surface, it bounces back the signal to the mouse, making it impossible to calculate the position. Use a carpet or else, but not shiny.
