Most micro sd cards from sandisk have a lock switch on the side of the card. First thing to do is check that it is not in "lock". If lock is not selected, then the card itself may be faulty.

Have you checked your camera options to make sure you didnt lock it inadvertantly?
Also is there a physical lock on the card that may have been accidently switched? Some do have a small flick switch on the side.
I downloaded some songs to my micro sd card but i cant find them.
Hi,
Do you know what format the songs are in? (ie. .mp3, .wma, .wav)??
This may be the issue. Check your phone's documentation to clarify which formats it can play.
Also, connect the memory card to a PC, do you still see the songs? If you do then its an issue with the phone, if not, try copying them to the memory card again.

The 'FAT' file-system uses 16-bit arithmetic, and thus is limited to about 2GB in size.
The 'FAT32' file-system uses 32-bit arithmetic, and thus can easily format an 8GB device.
So, be sure to choose 'FAT32'.
Also:
Click Start
Right-mouse click My Computer
Choose Manage
Click Storage
Click Disk Management (local)
Does the card show a 1.87GB "partition", plus 6.13GB of "unused" space?
If so, then delete that "small" partition, and then create a new partition that "spans" the entire 8GB.
Then, FORMAT that partition.
I have Kingston 1 GB sd card but it can not
Hello,
Try this out:
Power up your system, and plug the flash drive, then Right-Click on my computer icon, select manage, then go to Disk Management Option.
On the Disk management option Page you should see ALL the drives installed on your system, including the hidden ones, so what you will just do is, try and locate the one representing your flash drive, and right click on it. then select "Change Drive letter and Paths", and give the drive any new, unique letter (i.e alphabet) different from the ones already on your system, and click on OK.
This should make your Drive to be detected automatically.
Keep me posted about the problem.
Hope this helps you out.
Goodluck!

You may have reached the maximum number of files allowed in the root directory of the file system. If you already have a folder on the card, try moving some of the MP3 files into that folder. If you can copy 1 new MP3 file onto the card, that is your problem. Hopefully your MP3 player supports folders!

How do you unlock a 1gb sandisk mommory card for
The side of your SanDisk SD Card has switch to lock or unlock the card. This prevents accidental data deletion.
If the lock is broken, no other means but to replace the card or buy a new one.
