You will need to look for your input button on the tv or the remote and look at the back of your tv to see where your wires go!!!
You would make sure that the wires go to (input 1) are input2
Then you put your input on input1 are input2 and your wires in input1 are input2 on the back of the tv.

You will have to into the menu and deinterlace the 750 mode in order to set it to 1080i mode. You may have to set the aspect radio first. Mine is different as it is a different brand.....

You might have to change the tv's channel to 3 or 4.
Or perhaps the cable isn't routed corectly between the box and the tv. Should be from the back of the box something labeled ANTENNA OUT, VIDEO OUT, RF OUT, CABLE OUT, something OUT..
Some tv's have a place for standard cable tv as well as a digital tv tuner input.
if your cable box has RCA video outputs as well, then you may have to change some settings in the cable box to ensure the video is being ported out of the place you want. IE coax or rca.

Okay you TV is hooked to a comcast modem? or do you mean My tv is hooked to the comcast converter box? A no picture but sound you want to first check you cables also try hooking up a dvd to the tv and see if that picture comes on if not and you got no pic and sound this would mean the backlight on this tv is dead or you got a bad inverter not converter, inverter inside the tv. Meaning it needs the repairshop but try and hook up a dvd to it and see if you got picture if so you cable box might be the issue call comcast!

There isn't an external reset button on your TV, unfortunately. Resets to factory settings would have to be done through the on-screen menus and that's not possible if the TV won't stay on. A technician will likely have to diagnose the cause and complete the repair. Service for your TV can be obtained by calling 1-888-237-8289 in the U.S. or 1-866-237-8289 in Canada.

Let verify first to narrow down to where the problem can be. First, check the on screen sound set up menu to make sure the speakers are not set to OFF. If the setting is OK, then attach the powered PC speakers to the Audio Line out RCA jacks to see if you can get the sound there, if you do, then the problem can be in the power amp circuits, if you do not get the sound at RCA jacks, then the problem can be in the sound processor circuit. Please post back what you find.
I can cut the power on but can't see a picture
Look at the venting grills to see if you can see any white lights inside, if you do, then the backlight inverter circuits are at least working, if not, it can be the inverter board or the inverter board is not getting the power from main power supply sections.

Your tv is likely in a different aspect mode (it will probably have 4:3 which is standard for tv, 16:9 which is widescreen). The remote should have an aspect button. Try pressing that at see if the results are what you are looking for.
Blue light on, no bckgd light, picture, sound, or remote HELP!!!
The indications that the power supply is going is when you start noticing flickering and sound like shorts when you watch TV...
I do not know how to answwr this without looking at it but first I will check again and follow how far you are getting electric to the board
