OK try these steps:

1. Log on to your Google Gmail account.
2. In the left column, click Contacts.
3. On the right side of your screen, above the message count, click Export.
4. Click Outlook CSV (for import into Outlook clients).
5. Click Export Contacts.
6. When prompted to download the export file, click Save.
7. Choose a location on your computer to temporarily save the file. The default file name is gmail-to-outlook.csv.

NOTE You can delete this file after your contacts are imported into Outlook.

3. Click Import from another program or file, and then click Next.
4. Click Comma Separated Values (DOS), and then click Next.

   • Allow duplicates to be created
   • Do not import duplicate items

8. In the folder list, click the Contacts folder where you want the imported contact information to go, and then click Next.
9. To add or remove fields to determine the way the contact information is saved in the new imported file, clickMap Custom Fields.

My Hotmail went over to Windows Live Mail ok and I have all my old mail. My Messenger became Skype which is slow and clumsy but works. I suggest you try logging on directly on the Hotmail site at https://login.live.com. Get back to me if this still doesn't work.

Open the Outlook 2007

1. On the Tools menu, click Account Settings.

Is this problem happening with a particular attachment or for all attachments? To see your attachment, follow below steps:

1. Mouse hover on the attachment.
2. Click on 'Show in Drive' button.
3. Now click on the any document that you want to see.

I guess you mean if you look in "C:\Program Files\Outlook Express" it is not shown? If you go to Start>Search>All Files and Folders and search for 'Outlook Express' that should bring up a few locations. Check them out and see if that helps Otherwise you will need to start up your original Office CD , and find the option to 'Add software' and re--install Outlook Express. The real question is - what happened??
