I know this sounds a bit simple but the bowl cup can sometimes actually wear out and a very fast (# screws) and a new one and the problem is solved. If however there is a problem on the head hold down set screw (under the mixer in the cavity ) it can come loose then the mixer head can bounce all over the place causung the bowl to get loose in the holding cup at the base of the mixer., I hope this helps, let us know if you need more, we can FixYa

The wire whips are repairable but only by welding the whip back into place, that can be quite costly, and with new wire whips costing less than $20 that is the more economic solution. Unplug it and check the carbon brushes under the black screw caps on the sides. BE CAREFUL they only fit properly one way so take note of where the chamfered corner goes. Next check for loose or broken wires under back cover. After that it's going to get tricky.

A model number would help but it sounds like you may have blown the fuse gear. I won't ramble on about how to do it (it's a big job for an ordinary person) until you come up with a model number.

You will need to remove that chrome drip ring, knock out the pin through the planetary and take the planetary off. You will very likely find a case screw or two loose and grinding on the planetary. Tighten the screws and clean all the debris out, you may need to pop a bit more grease on the planetary gears, not too much though.

Owner's manual troubleshooting? No manual, try MFG customer website or phone. They may like to know you are having problems. They may know this is a problem and may send you a replacement free.

Sounds like the locking mechanism is faulty. Which model do you have?

There are different answers depending upon which model KitchenAid mixer you have. Please be more specific.

Make sure that the bowl is fully tightened in the bowl lock. If this does not solve the problem it may be that the lock disc itself needs to be replaced or that the amount of dough is more than the dough hook can handle.

Which model do you need the manual for? Also, are you looking for the User's Manual or the Service Manual?

Sorry I can't help you, I have the same problem myself. I have only used it about a dozen times and now, it won't cut on. I did contact the company, no help, and then trouble shooted the power underneath. It is receiving power but the motor must be seized. Useless.
