I can not get controller to work

Have you tried syncing it? To sync it, press the small circle button beside the LB button.

If it's already synced, have you tried pressing and holding the GREEN X (not the blue X) in the middle of the front of the controller? If you do this, the controller should work.

If nothing works, return your Xbox 360 controller for a new one.

Controller does not turn on xbox

CAUSE Connection problems might be caused by one or more of the following factors:

Weak batteries or a weak Xbox 360 Rechargeable Battery Pack

Interference from another wireless device, such as a microwave oven, a cordless phone, or a wireless router

Metallic objects positioned between the console and the wireless controller, such as a chrome faceplate or metal dividers, shelves, or doors on an entertainment center cabinet

There are already four controllers connected to the console.

Our problem is that the xbox says every time open

Its called the OPEN TRAY ERROR: If your console is out of warranty, Microsoft will charge you $99 to fix it. I started a Facebook page called "Xbox 360 open tray error class action lawsuit". http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=lf#!/pages/XBox-360-Open-Tray-Error-Class-Action-Lawsuit/114541845245219?ref=search&sid=1468606128.265784874..1
Everyone I know who owns a 360 has this error. Please join (like) the page if you use Facebook so we can see how many of us have this problem. The page tells you how to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Federal Trade Commission. When enough people complain, a lawyer will be more likely to file a class action lawsuit against Microsoft on our behalf. It took a class action lawsuit to get Microsoft to compensate their customers for the red ring of death. They need to (and will) fix this error too.

Disk is not working got a big scrach on it

fraserfergus

In regards to you having the scratch on the disk most likely this is where your problem is. Unlike a DVD or CD if a game disk will not work if it is too scrached up. The reason for this is most games have there own software they have to load for them to work where with a CD or DVD the data is just being read.

What you can try doing is going to your local game/movie rental place to see if they have a disk buffer to see if they can buff out the scrach. As long as it is not to deep they should be able to fix it.

Let me know if you have any more problems or questions

Problems with my xbox wirelles controller. no

If your batteries are good and the you see the green lights circling on the controller that means it is trying to synchronize with the system. Press the little button just to the right or just below the second memory card port on the Xbox to make the machine synch with the controller.

Game loads okay but controller does not work.

If the controller is brand new, you need to Sync it with your XBox 360.

Turn on your 360 using the button on the console.
Turn on the controller by holding the X button in the middle.

With both on, click the SYNC button on the xbox 360.
Then click the SYNC button on the Controller.

The green ring around both should flash a few times, then the upper left quadrant should light up on both meaning it's Sync'd.

Enjoy.
