It is possible that Auto-play is off on your computer. Try launching the CD from My Computer (or Computer, depending on your OS). Double click on the icon then double click on the D: drive (or the location of your optical drive). If the CD is accessed, find the exe file to launch the install. (If you want to turn on Auto-play, it is in the Control Panel under Hardware and Sound for Win7. It is in a similar place in other versions of Windows.)

If the direct access doesn't work, check the Device Manager to see if you have any error messages related to the driver for the optical drive. (Try updating the driver if you see a yellow triangle with an exclamation point or a red triangle with an x.) Check that the data cable is fully seated in both the motherboard and the optical drive and not damaged if you have a desktop. (Laptop cables can come loose but are often harder to get to so check your manual.) If the drive still doesn't work, you can try replacing the drive. Again check your manual if you have a laptop. (Optical drives are cheap.)

Anyone that does will not be on this forum long as it makes the firm liable for prosecution. ONE: This program installs a rootkit I believe, although it's a really great program otherwise, especially nice for beginners. Do you have a virus checker that kills rootkits? If so you may have to enable permission for that program to run in your virus checker. If you don't know how to do that, try step 2.

TWO:
Uninstall the program.
Turn off or unplug your modem to protect your computer from viruses.
Shut down your virus checker.
Install Roxio again and then try running it with your virus checking program still shut off.
Try burning a CD. Does it work fine?

THREE:
Turn your anti-virus program back on again.
If a message comes up asking if you want to give the program
full access,
limited access,
or block it, tell it you want to give it limited access. (That will allow it only access to safe operations. If you block it, your program won't work).

FOUR:
If it still won't burn, make sure you have a blank DVD or CD in the correct drive that the program wants to burn to, (or else change the drive it wants to burn to if you have more than one) and that it has no data, scratches or fingerprints on it.

Check that the burner is finalizing the discs. This can be set in Roxio or in the optical drive properties. In Windows 7, right click on the optical drive, choose Properties, then the Recording tab. Then the Global settings lets you choose to finalize the disc on eject. Try a different brand of DVD+R and check that the other players support DVD+R discs. (I know some DVD players only support DVD-R.)

This is a common problem. RW DVD are different types. You need to read what type of RW DVD you need there will be either a nimber, leter or symbol at the end of where it says RW DVD or DVD RW and you CANNOT use just any disc.

DVD 6. Be blessed.

go to mininova.com or isohunt.com and look for a crack then u wont need a cd key :)

avoid buying cheap disks. I have found that more than half of them have to be tossed not to mention the time. As the disks get older they also seem to become defective in my opinion,

Those DVDs can only hold 120 minutes of video. You'll have to cut up the video footage to 2 hour blocks, or change the recording options to burn a data DVD versus video DVD and compress the 6 hour long videos down to less than 4.7GB total.

I would recommend using DivX, its a free software and DvDrip player in all formats. just go to DivX.com and download it for free. it should work an enormous amount better than Roxio.

In order to read a .pdf file, you will need a program enabled to open and read it. The most likely and FREE version is Adobe Reader which can be downloaded and installed by going to the Adobe site...
