Transfer pics from old phone
If you computer does not have a memory card reader, you can find very cheap USB flash card readers online. You would simply need to find the correct reader (SD if you have an SD card). It should also be Plug and Play meaning you shouldn't have any software to install either.

Can't play any music
chances are your driver on your pc is corrupt. uninstall your driver from your pc for your phone then re install it. then go to verizons web site to see if there is an update for your device and download and install on your pc. delete all music files on the sd card( i know this is not probably what you want to do but chances are the music files are corrupt as well.. after you do all of these steps sync the phone to the pc and download one music file to the phone go in your applications page on the phone find the file and then transfer it to the sd card. remove the usb cord from the phone then play the file on the phone it should work properly

Slippery cell phone
i would invest in a leather glove. this will help when gripping this phone. if this phone has any voice command abilities, i would program it to dial in this manner.

Cant make calls or make or receive texts on verizon phone
The best thing to do is to take the battery out while the device is powered on and leave it out for thirty seconds, then replace the battery and power the device on, once it is at your main screen dial *228 and send selection option one by pressing 1 and let the music play after the programming is complete it should work just fine.

How to get free minutes on my verizon phone?
I realize that this question is over three years old, so, this may no longer be an issue.
Free talk minutes would be based upon the terms agreed upon when signing Verizon Wireless's paperwork.
Nowadays, most plans associated with smartphones contain unlimited talk & text with either a preset amount of data or unlimited data with the stipulation that if you go over a certain threshold before the end of the current billing cycle, data speeds could be greatly reduced until the start of the next billing cycle.
