Find out first is the tv black light that supplies the light so it projects a picture is not turning on. The best way is to just unplug,replug the tv back like an hour later.The tv setting and colors,will automaticly,return it to the Factory tv setting.

I am not a TV man. For mine I turned it off, un-plugged power cable. held the "ON" switch down for 5 min, to dissipate the current in the capacitors. then re-plugged the TV and it working fine. I am not a TV repairman. Big Al

You need the remote control from the cable company that should have come with the cable box. Or you can buy a universal remote and program it to your tv.

Ash Far-Ross: Make sure you have and use the TV remote or use the channel changer ON the TV it self. NOT THE CABLE BOX REMOTE. try that on for size.

This is a native resolution of your monitor not matching up or auto converting the images. In your monitor settings, under video there should be a category that, in a nut shell, asks you how you would like the images to be handled. One of the options should be select automatically.
