My TV screen went blank. Has power and sound works but I can only see the screen with the lights off and with flashlight. Insignia ns-48d510na15.

You need to change the capacitors in the power supply section of the TV

While the TV was playing today, The picture went black there was still sound. I shut off the TV with the remote and there is now no picture of sound the screen is black.

DVD player is saying "Wrong region"

region codes are as follow. Region 1 North America, Region 4 South America, Australia, Region 2 Europe, Region 5 Asia Major,Africa,Region 6 Asia Minor, Probably your DVD is from another region....hope this helps

I have an insignia 46" tv I replaced the main board, the tv works except the picture is upside down, what will correct this problem

Flip the TV over! Just kidding!! When you installed the main board was it identical to the old main board? If so, you might want to look at the old board and ensure there are no jumpers that needed to be set on the new board. Some companies make generic control boards for tvs but have different jumper settings for different models. The jumpers are just little black blocks that connect different pins to each other on top of the circuit board.

Insignia tv wont stay on

You have a week capacitor on the power board. It warms up and shuts off to not damage the rest of the TV.

Hello so I was on the shopjimmy website where i got referred to you guys... well I have a insignia NS-55DR420NA-16 and it had 2 horizontal lines/shadowing going on but today it just flickered and whent black.. I did the flash light test and there is a picture and sound.. but I am unsure if it's a bad back light inverter? And if it is i haven't pulled the cover off yet to see if the inverter is part of the main power board or not.. any help you can throw my way will be greatly appreciated

I have a 60" LCD insignia TV model 55E480A13A. I here sound but no picture.

Hello Ivan, for what you are saying, your Badge would have problems in the back lighting of the LCD panel (BackLight)
Usually one or more LEDs are burned, this causes the lighting system and the TV to be interrupted, it keeps the screen dark and with sound
You should replace all of the LEDs, to ensure a repair that lasts longer, because if you only replace the burned ones, at any time another of the originals is burned and you have to do the work again, with the purpose of breaking the LCD panel
I hope you can solve the problem, comment the results

Hola Ivan, por lo que comentas, tu Insignia tendr?a problemas en la iluminaci?n trasera del panel LCD (BackLight)
Por lo general se queman uno o mas Leds, esto hace que se interrumpa el sistema de iluminaci?n y el TV, se queda con la pantalla oscura y con sonido
Deber?as reemplazar la totalidad de los Led, para asegurar un reparaci?n que dure mas tiempo, porque si solo reemplazas los quemados, en cualquier momento se quema otro de los originales y tienes que hacer el trabajo nuevamente, con el riesgo de romper el panel LCD
Espero puedas resolver el problema, comenta los resultados

No, backlight failure. Backlight needs replacing. V. Expensive.
