GE 25.0 Cu. Ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator with Thru-the-Door Ice and Water - Black-on-Black - Page 3 Questions & Answers
Have a GE hot point HSS25GFTABB, removed doors to
Inspect the line crefully at the bottom of the door where it connects to the cabinet supply. The line may have been damaged when and if the doors were removed.
HOPEFULLY it is a small nick in the tubing casuing the water leak, and not the line inside the freezer door as the water line is foamed into the door and the entire door would have to be replaced to resolve an internal leak.
The coupler at the door connection is a push-lock syle coupler and to seperate the line you need to press the white collar into the blue barrel connector to relese the tension.
Good luck!

Water button lights up green but no water comes
Hi. Check to be sure that the fridge has the water supply connection made. It is on the back of the fridge. Often, a 1/4 inch plastic or copper line runs from the back of the fridge to under the sink. There would then be a small faucet at that connection which would have to be turned on. j.
Not getting cool
Hello,
UNPLUG THE UNIT.
You will need to remove that lower rear wall of the freezer.
Leave the doors opened until all that frost has melted out of the coils behind that wall. You will need some towels as some will get on the floor.
Once it is all melted out at the bottom of the coils there is a part attached with a pink and blue wire. You can test this part with a meter. Put the meter in the ohms setting. If you get a reading the part is good. If you get no reading the part is bad. This is the defrost heater.
Be sure to check it as there can be another part bad. If you find that this part is good let us know.
Now you can operate the unit with the wall in place for about 2 weeks after you get the frost melted out. This should give you time to get the new one installed. If you decide to use a hair dryer be aware that the plastic melts at a very low temperature.
Thanks
Water is not working
You have two points where you can check the dispenser water. At the rear where the water supply comes in is the water inlet valve. If you disconnect the dispenser water line and then see if the water comes out when you try the dispenser. You should hear the valve work when you try the dispenser. If you don’t hear it there is a dispenser actuator switch problem. If you do hear it but water doesn’t work here there is a valve or water supply problem.
If it's normal, disconnect it at the bottom of the freezer door and try again. If it's normal here it may be frozen in the door. If this is the case open the door till it thaws. A blanket over the opening will prevent thawing of all the food.
My ice maker pushes out ice into container but the
Sounds like the gear that turns the auger has broken or stripped , the beeeping is to let you know that something has falled. Slow water can be one of several this, the strainer in the water valve is partly stopped up, you could have a kink in the supply line, the water cut off valve could be clogged or the water valve itself maybe going bad.
How to tighten loose door handle

Door Ice dispencer Problem
First , remove the top freezer door hinge cover ( only held by 1 screw ) . Disconnect the plug there , to remove power to the door . Use a butter knife or flat head screw driver , and pry outward from the BOTTOM of the dispensor control plate . Disconnect the 3 plugs there and set aside . Remove the 3 or 4 screws holding the arm and cover in place , and slide out . Your problem , is probably a rusted coil and plunger , in the top right corner with 2 black wires going to it . The part # is WR62X10055 . Solenoid coil and plunger is the correct term for it . Cleaning will not work for long , only replacing will correct for a long period of time .
