I have the same issue where ioloSystemService is required... on a 64bit Vista Home Premium system. Iolo Tech (NO) Support's solution is for me to pay them another $200 dollars so their Certified Microsoft Systems Engineer can look at my system (no guarantee it will work after he looks at it either) or take it to Best Buy, Geeksquad, or Staples and pay them $300 dollars to look at it. It's a shame because I have been using their product since the first beta version. I guess they have just gotten too big for their own good because they sure do not care about the customer.

The "the component IoloSystemService" Error message shows up due improper installation of the System Mechanic Pro. Some of the Iolo dependencies failed to get activated and that is the problem.

Now the only solution to fix it is to follow a thorough uninstallation of the System Mechanic Pro.

For WinXP, you can uninstall it from the "Add or Remove Programs".

Next, once its unistalled do not RESTART the PC.

Now, go to the Registry (press "windows" + R to open the run command and type "regedit").

On the left-hand side, expand HKEY_CURRENT_USER by clicking the + symbol next to the entry.
Expand Software.
Expand the iolo folder.
Navigate to the System Mechanic Professional folder.
Right-click on the System Mechanic Professional folder and select Delete.
Click Yes to confirm the deletion.
On the left-hand side, expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE by clicking the + symbol next to the entry.
Expand Software.
Expand the iolo folder.
Navigate to the System Mechanic Professional folder.
Right-click on the System Mechanic Professional folder and select Delete.
Click Yes to confirm the deletion.
Close the Registry Editor.
Click Start>My Computer and then navigate to your Local Disk (usually the C: drive) then Program Files\iolo\System Mechanic Professional.

May be there is made a collection of systemrestore points in Windows microsoft If there is something loaded in the registery . Start in safety mode with msconfig and try with minimal starting programs something can made a problem . A last hint are the hardware firmwares (bios e.d. )all up to date ?

Try reinstalling your system mechanic as an administrator

Right click on the setup file and select ‘run as administrator’

Go to control panel and remove System Mechanic. Reboot the machine and reinstall it.

In the lower right corner, click on the Windows logo. Click on the SETTINGS icon. On the settings screen, select APPS & FEATURES Scroll down the list to find what apps/games you want to remove. Click on each and select UNINSTALL.

try going into safe mode and on installing it there is probably a program preventing it from uninstalling. What kind of Windows are you running?

If you have disabled the clip board with a tuning program that frees up memory, that is what the problem is.

Phone or email the company and cancel your account, Some firms will not cancel , the only way then is go to your bank tell them you have lost your card they will replace it with another account number . and the company will no longer be able to take your money.

Get in touch with IOLO and tell them! There seems to be a lot of doubt about this software, so the sooner you get rid of it the better.
