If your system responds to normal batch commands, then press and hold the CTRL key, and tap the C key, this should issue a CTRL - Break, command and terminate any batch processes, and hopefully shut down that process, else, try simply resetting the unit, or turn it OFF, and continuing on after the reset, turn On, reboot, and then go to those locations. and look for those dates
