Check the power connectors to the Graphics Card are connected firmly and that it's seated on the motherboard correctly. Check for dust as this may also cause issues. Other than this I cannot help you, good luck.

It might be a case of simply downloading and installing the latest drivers for your graphics card. Go to www.nvidia.com and click their download drivers button. Then select your card form the list and download and install the latest drivers. Heat could also be an issue. Ensure that the cooler is clean of dust and that the fan is running smoothly. Install additional fans in your chassis if possible, as graphics cards tend to give off the most heat in a computer system. Also clean the gold fingered connectors of the graphics card with tissue paper. Set the graphics of the game down a bit, it is possible that the card is not able to cope with the load it is set to run at. Reducing the graphics may help.Take care!damnor01

HI. This will usually occur if the actual new updated driver pack is corrupted or flawed through no fault of your own. I would recommend to restore the previous working driver. This will restore stability until a new update is available. This will happen from time to time, due to the fact that, many driver updates may be packed incorrectly or built with flawed code. Simply rollback to the previous driver to correct the issues with the overheating. Continuing to run this defective new driver pack will damage your chip set.

Your graphics card may be performing pooly because it is too hot. Ensure that the tempreatures are within range. You don't want it over 65deg Cen. Install at least one fan in your computer's chassis. Clean the graphics cooler and the CPU cooler of dust, this will increase airflow and reduce those temperatures.

You may need an upgrade either CPU, Graphics or RAM.
I can't tell you for sure as I don't know the secifications of your Gaming Rig.
Post them and I will tell you if it is your hardware.

Take care!

Hello there, your unit needs a new driver for your VGA card. This driver can be Found Here. The NVIDIA 8500 is usually not meant to support windows 7 but with the installation of this driver this would be sorted out. After installing then you adjust your screen resolution for your PC. To do this simply right click on your desktop and select screen resolution option from here you can adjust the resolution.
Hope this support has been helpful?
Thank you for visiting FixYa.

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them they might be faulty make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electical extensions even something as small as an electrical fan and its lead can cause this problem or just replace them they could be faulty a computer needs all electrical power and data to continue through every working device and to have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error

make sure your graphics card is securely seated with no dust built up or in the socket

hope this helps you
