The ohms rating measures the electrical resistance of the subs(impedance). On the subs there is usually a label that tells you what the impedance is for that particular sub,example= 4 ohms . The only way you can get to a 1 ohm load or less with a pair of tens is if each sub has dual voice coils that are 4 ohms each wired in parallel. Generally Sony xplod's are a single coil 4 ohm woofer-yours might be the exception in this case .To figure out your resistance say with 2 subs that are 4 ohms you have to know how you intend to wire them for instance if your amp puts out a fair amount of power @2 ohms and thats the number you want to hit than you will want to wire the subs in parallel( + to + and - to -) wiring in parallel lowers the resistance.(ohms) If you want to hit 1 ohm and you have dual 4 ohm coils then wire all 4 coils in parallel and that will then be a 1 ohm load. Its simply a matter of dividing the ohms by the number of speakers that you intend to connect. if you had 3 10s that were 4 ohms each and you wired them in parallel the ohms would be 1.33 (as 4 divided by 3 is 1.33)(4 divided by 2 is 2) (4 divided by 4 is 1) On the flip side wiring in series will raise your impedance-a pair of 4 ohm subs wired in series gives you an 8 ohm load 3 subs gives you 12 ohms and so on. I wouldnt worry about the high current switch unless youre planning on taking it down below 1 ohm which it sounds like you arent currently set up for.

to run this at 1 ohm, connect one terminal to your amplifier and then run a line from that terminal to the other terminal, in parralel, which means positive to positive and negative to negative in all cases. a wire starts at one terminal, goes into the next terminal and continues to the amp.

To run at 2 ohm just connect one terminal to the amp, no need to make a connection between the two terminals, just choose one!

to run at 4 ohms, u have to wire the sub in series, which means you connect the negative of the amp to the negative of one terminal, and the positive of the amp to the positive of the OTHER terminal, and a wire should connect the negative and positive from each terminal.

This is assuming that your subwoofer has two 2ohm terminals.
be careful what you amplifier is stable at. running 1 ohm on a 4 or 2 ohm stable amp can and eventually will over heat and destroy it.

Any type of 4 channel amp that will allow the speakers to be hooked up at 4ohm. I would check your local walmart. The brand VR3 are made by Rockford fosgate as well as lighting audio. From what I have heard they are some really good amps at affordable prices. If you are looking to spend some money I would recommend a JL Audio e2150

I am assuming you are referring to the actual connectors/plugs that are needed to wire the MB Quart RAA1000, a complete wiring kit is available here. It includes patch cord, power cable, grounding cable, turn-on lead among others.

If you want a pictorial layout of the wiring and connectors, the owner's manual would be of help and is available here.

First thing to do is check to make sure that the batteries are properly charged.

Second, make sure that you have a clear line-of-site to the IR transmitter. Infrared (IR) works the same way that your TVs remote control works - if the signal is blocked, then you will not hear any sound.

Third, make sure that you are in the rear seat of the vehicle when listening to the sound. The IR transmitter only transmits to the rear seat, so you will not hear any sound if you are sitting in the front seats. This is a common problem that i see.

Lastly, make sure that the heapdhones you purchased are compatible with your 2006 2007 2008 2009 or 2010 Toyota Sienna. Remember that some older models require RF headphones, not IR headphones. I checked http://www.audiovideo2go.com for compatibility before I purchased my headphones. They have a useful listing of all the headphones and models of vehicles they are compatible with.
