Dacor ECS127 Epicure Stainless Steel Electric Single Oven - Page 2 Questions & Answers
Dacor oven ECPS127S will not heat after self clean
the problem was fixed by opening the panel between the oven cavity and the touch panel just behinf the door. you can look through the grill but to trip the reset you must unscrew the panel. you will find the reset back behind the wires Looks a red button nestled on top not very open but it should be there> i do have to say i found a step by step description on this site. but right now i can't tell you who exactly he was.
I turned my oven on
It is quite common for oven elements to fail.
Disconnect, and fit new one
Plz rate this solution.
thanks.
Faulty oven door
This IS SO EASY !! I have the DACOR 48...no tools, 5 minutes and you are done! It took me 8 years of frustration and I fixed it TODAY !!
Just open the door, latch the small hook that binds the two hinges together. Next try to slowly close the door until resistance. Just when you think you might break something push up another 2 inches. Now lower the door , unhook the latch to seperate the hinges (latches) nad PRESTO a snug fit !!
Inside Window Replacement
remove screws from top panel it is presure into slot by force screws. then slid flat blade alog egde without forcing it. untill it releases. once you have clean and reverse proces to install make sure screws are tighten. like you would tighten a tire rim on a car.
LED FRROZEN
Sounds like you have a need for a circuit board. First, disconnect power for a few minutes and re-power. If that doesn't fix it, get a new board. Turn off power before working on your unit.
Condensation
Should not be a problem. Be aware that these units cook more quickly...and they pull out moisture differently from the food and some of it hits colder parts of the oven...condensation. If all else seems well, you're okay.
Dacor Oven - convection fan stays on while on "bake" setting
Question: does the unit appear to hold the correct temperature? Most convection units only turn the heating elements on and off...not the fan. If the unit is reporting operating temp and then taking other direction...and it is cooking right...you're done.
Dacor CPO130W F4 fault
f-4 on decor ovens mean the oven temp sensor is bad. replace the oven temp sensor and it will be fine
Oven enamel chipping
The only solution I know of for the enamel coming off on these units is replacement of the unit, and since it is 4 years old you are going to have a tough time getting dacor to replace it or even give you a credit towards a new one. I have never actually seen the problem on a Dacor. Does the unit have a hidden lower bake element? If you cannot seee the elemnt its hidden, and you cannot put tin foil on the floor of any unit wiht a hidden bake element, as it will damage the finish. I know this isnt much help, but I work on Dacor products regularly as we are an authorized servicer, and I can't say I've ever seen a finish problem on one. Best bet at this point is to call Dacor and see if they will do anything about it. Good Luck!
Dacor model W305 oven element will not turn off
If the element in your Dacor W305 oven will not turn off, there are a few things you can try:
- Turn off the power to the oven by unplugging it or switching off the circuit breaker. Wait a few minutes and then turn the power back on to see if the element has reset.
- Check the oven's temperature sensor. If the sensor is faulty, it may be sending the wrong signal to the oven's control board, which can cause the element to stay on. You can test the sensor with a multimeter to see if it's functioning properly.
- Check the oven's control board. If the control board is faulty, it may be sending a continuous signal to the element to stay on. You may need to replace the control board if this is the case.
- If the element is physically damaged, it may be causing a short circuit that keeps it on. In this case, you will need to replace the element.
If none of these solutions work, it may be best to contact a professional technician to diagnose and repair the issue.

Have Dacor wall oven ECS130SBK . The time is correct but to the right it says OFF in red. How do I fix it?
If your Dacor wall oven displays "OFF" in red, it means that the oven is not turned on or is in standby mode. To turn on the oven, follow these steps:
- Press the "Bake" or "Convection Bake" button.
- Use the "+" and "-" buttons to set the desired temperature.
- Press the "Start" button to begin preheating the oven.
If the oven still displays "OFF" after following these steps, try turning the power to the oven off for a few minutes and then turning it back on. If the issue persists, there may be a problem with the oven's control board or wiring and you may need to contact a qualified appliance repair technician for further assistance.

Dacor up button not working
Try a spray of switch and contact cleaner spray with the power turned off. Get behind the buttons if possible.

Dacor double oven model ECD227SCH relay board preventing oven from working......
It sounds like you may be having an issue with your Dacor double oven. If the relay board is preventing the oven from working, there could be a problem with the board itself or with a component it controls.
To troubleshoot this issue, you may want to try the following steps:
- Check the oven's electrical connection and circuit breaker. Make sure the oven is properly plugged in and that the circuit breaker has not tripped.
- Check the relay board for any visible damage, such as burnt or melted components. If you find any damage, the board may need to be replaced.
- Check the oven's thermostat. It is possible that the thermostat may be faulty and not allowing the oven to heat up.
- Check the heating element. If the element is not heating up, it may need to be replaced.
If these steps do not help resolve the issue, you may need to call a repair technician to diagnose and fix the problem. It is generally not recommended to try to repair an oven yourself, as it can be dangerous and may void the manufacturer's warranty.
