Your clock button is stuck.
Push it several times to dislodge it,then turn off the range power for 30 seconds and plug it back in.
This may correct the problem.
Otherwise you will have to replace the electronic control.

depends on the distance between the surface & the hood

There are screws somewhere around the board housing. First check below the control panel just above the door. There might also be one screw on the ends of the control panel. Usually you do not have to remove the knobs to do this.When you get to the board just behind the panel, it might be held down further be clips at the edges.
