Frigidaire FGQ332ES Gas Dryer Questions & Answers
I had a bunch of verywet towels because my sink was leaking, and I put them in the dryer and it worked for a few minutes them stopped. What might be wrong?
Good Morning Friend,
I understand that you had a bunch of wet towels, and put them in your Frigidaire dryer, model# FGQ332ES. I see that your dryer worked for a few minutes and then stopped. There could be a possibility that the wet towels were too heavy from all the water in them. I suggest that you spin the towels out in your washer first and then move them over to your dryer. If you are still noticing the dryer working for a couple of minutes and then stopping, I suggest giving your appliance a hard reset. You will do this by either unplugging your appliance or shutting the power off at your homes circuit breaker for 3-5 minutes. When power is restored start it on any cycle. If your dryer is still shutting off after a few minutes, I suggest contacting your local authorized technician for further assistance. They will be able to diagnose your appliance and determine what is causing it to shut off after a few minutes. Hope this is helpful.
-Best regards-

Dryer runs for short time, then stops. will not restart.
Hello Tommy Mason - Have you try unplugging the unit or flipping the household breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes. I suggest touching each button individually on keypad, do any lights turn on or does the display change? If any proves to be ineffective, I would recommend contacting a professional to move forward accurately because it can possibly have a defective keypad.

Hello - Usually this type of information is not release to someone who is not a technician (or to a consumer) and it is very rare to find enough information to do it yourself. Typically this is something that you want a certified professional to install for you due to safety and liability reasons. They also usually warranty their labor just in case something else may turn out to be the root cause of your initial problem and it does work out better to your advantage. Consider contacting your manufacturer for more details on who in your area can properly install this part. (part usually have a 30 day warranty with tech). I would suggest contacting your manufacturer to provide you a listing of authorized technicians in your area whom may guide you through this process.
