Noisey like a bearing going out. can i replace fan
Modern air conditioners do not allow 'bearings to be changed.'
These days - you can't even 'oil' them (as in the old days).
Basically, when bearings go out - you have to replace the motor.
Be 'sure' it is a bearing noise and not the fan blade hitting the unit.
Also - it's possible (but not likely) that it's the bearings in the compressor making the noise.
If you're not sure - you will need to run the fan by itself. Just turn the switch to "FAN ONLY." If it still makes the noise then it's the fan.
Hope this helps.

Sometimes it blows cold, sometimes it doesnt.
The coils that are located right behind the filter need to be cleaned extremely well. You can purchase a spray from your local hardware dealer that can clean the coils. Also, rinse the fins at the back side of the unit as well. Dirty units can cause this to happen. If you clean it and it continues, you have developed a refrigerant leak. Since window units are so inexpensive today, it is not cost effective to hire someone to come out and find and repair it. Hope this is of help to you.
Beeping noises
try un plugging it for 30 sec and pluggind it back in and if that dosent work by pass the energy saver with a jumper from j1 to j2
Window ac/heater freezes up when using the heater?
This is likely due to a lack of airflow. Make sure that the air filter is clean and that there are no obstructions blocking the air intake or exhaust vents. If this does not resolve the issue, you may need to have a technician come out and inspect the unit for any other potential issues.
