I prefer installing/upgrading the operating system on the ix104c2 with a USB flash drive and the program "WinToFlash" and set the "Hard drive priority" to whatever flash drive you are using as the first boot device in BIOS. I recommend using a USB key board to navigate BIOS and it is required to install the Operating system.

To begin with, the maximum RAM that the Ix104c2 can operate on is 1gb. Secondly, If you have little to no experience working on laptops, then I would suggest having a computer repair business or a friend who has the knowledge of doing so install the RAM. The inside of the ix104c2 is rather complex and upgrades/repairs should not be attempted by a novice.

To start off with, the maximum RAM that the ix104c2 can operate on is 1gb. And secondly, open the case again and check that you plugged the 3 wire (I believe black, red and yellow) connector is plugged into the mother board in case you accidentally unplugged it when seperating the case halves.

This is a tough one, I did some research and found the best bet is to either A. contact www.tpi1.com which makes the xplore tablets, see if they can point you in the right direction. Or B. and this is my choice, I would take the pack to interstate battery, a nationwide company that deals with batteries, and they offer a service to make any battery. I don't know how much it would cost to do this, but it maybe your only hope.

reload from disc or recovery drive, i think recovery is F11button not sure.
to reload from disc go into bios F2 AND SET CD OR DVD drive to boot first save changes then reboot put disc in then reboot again.
